Rabbi Derofe is the Chief Rabbi of Ismir, Turkey. He was born in Istanbul in 1989. At the age of 19, he went to study at the Ets Ahayim Yeşiva, a branch of the Aavat Shalom Educational Institutions headed by A-Gaon Rabi Yaakov Hillel in Israel, followed by one year in the Midrash Sephardi Yeshiva. He started in Izmir after he got his diploma of Ravish.
