Jews display a rich history in Ottawa, Canada, dating back to the 1800s. Currently, there is a community newspaper, a JCC, several synagogues, and a Canada’s first Holocaust Memorial, erected in 2017. Visit the Sephardi Association for more information.

Toronto maintains around 50 synagogues, a growing network of Jewish day schools, and a number of Jewish organizations. Today, the Jewish community stands at approximately 150,000 out of Toronto’s 3.5 million inhabitants. The Sephardi Kehila Centre offers services and events.
