Rabbi Natan Asmoucha received semicha from Midrash Sephardi in the summer of 2003. He grew up in a Sephardi kehilah. His father alav hashalom was from Iraq; his mother is Ashkenazi, from Wales, U.K.

Rabbi Asmoucha is currently the rabbi of Croydon and District Synagogue, part of the Federation of Synagogues London. It is located in a small Ashkenazi Orthodox community in the south part of Greater London. It has a weekly Friday evening and Shabbat morning service in addition to the holidays. His synagogue takes part in various social events too.

During the weekdays he is also involved in hospital chaplaincy acting as a Jewish Chaplain for the NHS (National Health Service) in several South London hospitals.
