Born in Iran, Rabbi Reuven Levtov made aliyah to Israel at the age of 10 with his family. After high school, he served for three years in the Israeli Defense Forces as a combat soldier. While in the army, he received his smicha from Rav Gad Navon. He graduated from Esh Torah and Or Samayech and holds degrees in math and philosophy.
Rabbi Levtov has a masters in Lectures and taught for 10 years at Mochon Lifshitz. One of the original students of the SSC, he received his rabbinical degree from Rav Yaakov Peretz and Rav Yosef Mashash. Now a Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Levtov teaches Judaic studies at the SSC.
