Haim Kassin was born and raised in Jerusalem, the son and grandson of a long line of rabbis dating back to 15th century Spain. In Israel he studied at Yeshiva Or Elchanan and then at Hadrat Melech in Bnei Brak. He then worked as a teacher at Yeshiva Aish Hatorah, and studied at a Sephardic kollel.
Rabbi Kassin is youth director at Shabbat Ashim in Panana. He speaks Hebrew and Spanish. The rebbetzin speaks Spanish and English.
